How to Pay SSC Fess?

  1. Visit the official website of the SSC www.ssc.nic.in
  2. Find the ‘Apply’ tab and click on it.
  3. Now choose the exam name for whose respect you want to make the payment.
  4. Suppose you have chosen for ‘CGL’, click on CGL tab.
  5. It will lead you to the Apply part where you have to type your registration ID and password. 0r instead of doing all this, you can simply press the option of “make payment online” from the Instruction to candidates.
  6. Type the text as it is, what is given in the image and then press the ‘submit’ button.
  7. This will direct you to the ‘SSC Exam Application Fee Form’ page where you will be asked your choice of payment. Two options will be displayed before you for this.
  8. Now you have to select the option of your choice.
  9. Till here, the steps are common for online and offline payments.

For Offline payment-

  1. Select the offline option from the ‘Fee Form’ window.
  2. A printed Challan will get visible to you. In that challan, the name of the SSC Exam would be displayed and other things like your name and name of the bank are also displayed.
  3. Remember that you have to make payments through SBI (State Bank of India) only.
  4. There will be 2 copies of the challan. One for the bank itself and other will be the candidate’s copy.
  5. You have to save this challan and take a print out of it using a printer. If you do not have any printer, then go to cyber café.
  6. After receiving the printed copy of challan, visit the bank.
  7. Show your challan to the responsible person over there.
  8. He/she will enter some useful entries there and deliver a stamp over the challan.
  9. The bank copy of the challan will be submitted to the bank itself, while the candidate copy will be handed to you.
  10. In this way, your fee for the concerning examination will be submitted.

How to make online payment through debit card?

You should have your valid and activated debit card and your 4 digits Personal Identity Number.

  1. Choose ‘online’ option form the SSC Online application payment form window.
  2. Enter the text in the same window and then press the ‘Submit’ button.
  3. It will direct you to the Payment System window where you will be provided various payment channels like SBI Nil, SBI Debit card, SBI credit card.
  4. You can choose any one among them.
  5. For SBI nil and SBI debit card, no extra fees will be charged from you by the bank, but if you wish to pay through SBI credit card, then the SBI will charge some fees for its services, maybe 1.69 Rs.
  6. Suppose, you chose for SBI nil, then you will be asked your username and password which you have registered with the bank for transacting your e-banking services.
  7. Press Log-In button and after reading the amount of fees i.e. Rs 100, press the ‘Confirm’ Button displayed at the below of the window.
  8. Don’t forget to check the status of the fee payment. If your status shows success to you, then it is successfully transacted.
  9. Press print button to save and take out the print of the payment receipt.

How to make online payment through credit card?

First, you should carry your activated and valid credit card with you before beginning the payment process and then continue with the following steps.

  1. Select the ‘make payment online’ option button from the “instructions to Candidates” frame box.
  2. Insert your registration Id, password, and generated Text.
  3. Press submit button.
  4. Choose credit card icon. This will precede you in the payment window through credit cards.
  5. Now, enter your card number and the CVV/CVC2 number, which is a three-digit number displayed at the back of your card. If you do not know that where this CVC is displayed then note that it is placed to the right of a Four-digit number and this Four-digit number is the last Four-digit number of the card number.
  6. Now an OTP will be generated online which is sent to your mobile number.
  7. You need to enter this OTP in the OTP box in the given limited time. Remember that the OTP is a One Time Generated password and therefore and can be used for given seconds. After that, if you want to attempt another session, and then you have to generate another OTP. The old OTP cannot be used again and again.
  8. Finally, your transaction is done.
