SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2018 Detailed Analysis

Your SSC CHSL exam is composed of total 3 tiers. Tiers mean the number of rounds. So, your final selection in the CHSL will be based upon the performance of yours in these total 3 tiers.

Okay. Let us be clearer. At first stage, you would have different sections subject wise. You have to crack the scores section-wise and overall scores in total as well. That means you have to clear sectional cut-offs together with overall tier cut-offs. This will continue until you reach the last stage.

Please note that you need not give all the tiers at one go. After you crack the tier- I exam, then only you are eligible to step your foot at tie-2 exam.

Also, note that if you fall fail in achieving required scores in the tier-II exam, then it doesn’t mean that you can again give the tier- II exam directly. You’ll have to apply for the exam right from the scratch and first clear the tier- I exam. That means you have to repeat the whole process again until you reach your destination.
